Football Insider reports that Rangers custodian Jack Butland is considering a move to the Premier League this summer.
The 31-year-old has been in excellent form at Ibrox this season and is anxious to show himself again in England.
Butland is thought to be happy at Rangers and pleased with his decision to join the Glasgow giants last summer, but he believes he is still young enough to make an impact in the Premier League.
According to sources, Butland was “in the frame” to be recalled to the England team; he believes that returning to the Premier League will improve his prospects of a Three Lions call-up.
Butland, a Rangers player, could be persuaded to accept a Premier League offer
Butland has previously played in the Premier League with Birmingham City, Stoke City, Crystal Palace, and Manchester United.
He only made 17 appearances for Selhurst Park before his contract expired in 2023, but his stock has improved following a strong start to his Rangers career.
Butland has made 47 appearances for the Gers this season, playing every possible minute in the league and keeping 23 clean sheets.
Philippe Clement’s side has the greatest defensive record in the Scottish Premiership, conceding only 16 goals in 29 league games in 2023-24.
