Hibs Injury Update
Hibs boss Nick Montgomery has provided an update on Lewis Miller’s injury. When asked if Miller will miss the international window with Australia, Montgomery answered, “I don’t know, it’s nothing bad, it’s just a muscle tightness.”
“He tightened up slightly, and Lewis did the right thing by coming off. Perhaps he will be fine after the international break; I believe he should be. I don’t think it would help him to leave today, wait on a plane, if he isn’t going to play.”
Rangers star expected to resign
A Rangers player is reportedly considering leaving Ibrox. Football Insider reports that Jack Butland, a dependable custodian, is considering returning to England from Scotland.
According to the report, Butland has ‘not ruled out’ returning to the Premier League this summer despite missing out on an England call-up this time. The former Crystal Palace and Stoke City custodian has been in terrific form this season, and he could yet make the Euro 2024 squad. Whether he does or not, he may attract attention from the South this summer, while being only 31 years old.
