CAM CALLS UP TO THE AUS SQUAD

Australia’s roster for the FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifying match against Lebanon includes Cameron Burgess.

On Thursday, March 21, the Socceroos play Lebanon at CommBank Stadium in Western Sydney. The following Tuesday, they play Lebanon again at GIO Stadium in Canberra.

With six points from two games, Australia is leading Group I in Asian qualifying, while Lebanon is in second place after drawing their first two matches.

Burge, who has already represented his country on six times, will reunite with his international teammates after Town’s home match against Sheffield Wednesday this weekend.

The defender was called up in response to the announcement that Wales’ roster for their play-off games for EURO 2024 qualification later this month includes Nathan Broadhead, Wes Burns, and Kieffer Moore.
