Breaking News: Rangers three-man signing plan revealed

According to Football Insider, Rangers’ recruitment team has identified three areas for improvement in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The Ibrox club wants to add a new left-back, central midfielder, and striker to their roster for the 2024-25 season.

It will be Philippe Clement’s first summer in charge of the team after taking over from Michael Beale in October 2023.

The Gers presently lead Celtic by two points at the top of the Scottish Premiership standings, and they are on pace to qualify for the Champions League next season, when the system changes to the Swiss model.

According to Football Insider, Rangers’ summer transfer budget would increase by £20 million if they qualify for the Champions League.

Rangers are reportedly looking for a new left-back as Borna Barisic’s contract expires this summer.

Philippe Clement targets a quadruple summer signing at Rangers.

Ridvan Yilmaz’s future is also in doubt, as he was extensively connected with a January exit.

Rangers could potentially be short in midfield this summer, with Ryan Jack and John Lundstram out of contract.

On Monday (March 11), Football Insider reported that talks with Lundstram regarding a new deal have halted.

Kemar Roofe could possibly leave Ibrox as a free agent this summer when his contract ends, leaving up room in Clement’s squad to sign a centre-forward.
