Adam Idah’s “disaster” hit in Celtic as the most recent details surface

Celtic hit by Adam Idah 'disaster' as latest details emerge - sources

After his loan stint at Celtic, Adam Idah’s parent club, Norwich City, is expected to want to sell him, according to sources who spoke to Football Insider.

After the forward made a spectacular move to Celtic Park, Scottish journalist Daniel Bowers claimed that the Canaries will try to cash in on him on the latest episode of Football Insider’s Insider Track Podcast.

Football Insider has been informed by reliable sources that Celtic views it as a “disaster” that they are unable to purchase Idah’s move.

He was a major asset to the Hoops in recent weeks after joining the Glasgow giants on a six-month loan during the January transfer window.

Following his loan at Celtic, Adam Idah is expected to return to Norwich City.

He has made seven appearances for the team in all competitions, with five goals and one assist. In February, he scored braces against Motherwell and Hibernian to seal the victory.

Having had a successful start to his career in Glasgow, Norwich will allow him to leave permanently after he failed to establish himself at Carrow Road.

Last month (February 29), sources told Football Insider that the 23-year-old Republic of Ireland star will need to pay a hefty fee for the Glasgow giants to make his move permanent in the summer.

Nonetheless, Football Insider (February 27) was informed by reliable sources that Idah is amenable to a possible permanent transfer to the team during the summer transfer window.

Even though Celtic lost 2-0 at Hearts on Sunday, March 3, they are still only two points behind league leaders Rangers.

Their next match is this Sunday afternoon (10 March) against Livingston in the Scottish Cup quarterfinals.
