On March 6, The Scottish Sun revealed “brutal news” about Zak Lovelace, a striker with the Rangers.
The 18-year-old was forced to leave the B Team after just 18 minutes of play in a friendly against Royal Antwerp in Belgium.
The extent of the injuries was not yet known, so he had to receive treatment.
Lovelace was itching to rejoin the main Rangers team.
Lovelace has experienced a lot of bad luck during his time at the club.
He made an impression in a game against St Mirren, but he was out for about six months due to a nasty hamstring injury.
Even though he had previously played for the first team, tragedy struck again just as he was about to make his comeback in a B-team match, impeding his progress.
Lovelace got injured and had to leave the game after just eighteen minutes, despite his desire to get back into shape and health.
This is especially heartbreaking because he has limited time to show himself to Philippe Clement before his contract expires in the summer.
