Leeds United: Simon Jordan discusses the “interesting” promotion decision in a recent admission from Leicester City

According to Simon Jordan, Leicester City remains the favourite to win the “remarkable” Championship this season, ahead of both Ipswich Town and Leeds United.

With three games remaining in the Championship, Daniel Farke’s team is now in third position, two points behind Ipswich in second place and five behind league leaders Leicester, who had closed the gap after losing three straight games.

While the majority of analysts and fans had predicted Leeds would return to the Premier League right away this season, Jordan has refused to write Ipswich off, acknowledging that he has been impressed by them in this “fascinating” competition for the title.

Tuesday, March 5, at 12:54 p.m., he stated on talkSPORT, “This is a remarkable league.” Three teams have the potential to win the league, six or seven have the chance to advance to the playoffs, and nine have the chance to be demoted.

It is unlike any other league. There is no other league that offers this much risk every week than the Championship, which is an incredible league that deserves to be improved and publicised more.

“Leicester will get back on track if they win. The comeback of Ipswich, in my opinion, has been the most amazing tale in recent weeks. Everyone wrote them off and believed that once Leeds found their rhythm, the relegated teams would take over the automatic spots, but that isn’t turning out to be the case.

“I find the situation fascinating and I continue to believe Leicester will prevail.”

Which team, Leeds United or Leicester City, will win the Premier League this year?

It’s remarkable what a few days can accomplish in the Championship since, in the course of only one or two games, the entire promotion race has turned upside down, leaving everyone unsure of what lies ahead.

Despite having drawn far too many games this season, Ipswich has proven to be an extremely difficult team to beat, and considering their strong start to the season, it’s difficult to see them losing ground in the final weeks.

Leeds United manager Daniel Farke

Leicester is now struggling after losing to Leeds United, but they have proven they can defeat any team in this league, so it’s likely that they will soon turn things around at the King Power.

For Farke and his team, winning Tuesday (5 March) against Stoke City is the most essential thing. Up to the end of the season, if they win every game, the standings and promotion will take care of themselves.
