8.5m-rated star directly addresses burning Celtic rumour as he gives Hoops transfer encouragement

Mathias Kvistgaarden, the Danish striker, has expressed interest in joining Celtic. The Brondby forward was linked to a move to Glasgow throughout the summer and winter transfer windows. It never happened since reports in January stated that the 21-year-old would require a payment of about £8.5 million. Rather, Adam Idah was loaned to Celtic by manager Brendan Rodgers from Norwich City.
For the Superliga team this season, the Danish youth international has eight goals and seven assists. Though no Celtic discussions have taken place, Kvistgaarden has already disclosed in an interview with Tipsbladet that his dream is to move overseas with a substantial transfer fee going to Brondby.
Celtic transfer rumour gets ultimate verdict as 'target' addresses speculation with a swipe
“I didn’t read the articles,” he declared. I was just scrolling around social media when they suddenly appeared. I therefore couldn’t help but notice that there would occasionally be a photo of me followed by a Celtic-related item.”I was not very good at that a few years ago. I read a lot of what was written about me back then. I’ve improved a lot at letting stuff go. I get no benefit from reading such material.
“I’ve not spoken with them. Obviously, traveling overseas is the dream at some point. Although that’s every player’s desire, I don’t want to discuss it right now. I have a season left to play and am sitting here wearing a Brondby jersey. I’m not bothered by that at all, therefore.”With me having traveled all the way from the youth section, it would be an added benefit. Without a doubt, this club helped shape me into the football player I am today, thus I would like to give them back by obtaining a competitive transfer fee.
