Lowry has played 36 and 33 minutes for the Sixers in their previous two games, and while it may be a result of the team’s ailments, he has looked terrific doing it. Few fans thought Lowry could be logging so many hours and still be producing at a high caliber.
2. A Real Point Guard
True point guard Kyle Lowry is. With the Sixers, he already has ten assists in a game. He has provided 29 assists through 5 games, or almost 6 assists per game on average. In addition, he has only committed six turnovers over that time.With Joel Embiid out of the picture, the 76ers require consistency more than ever. That’s supplied by Kyle Lowry. On the attacking end of the court, he has a lot of methods to influence the game. He’s cunning, intelligent, and possesses a bit more quickness than others realize. It seems as though Lowry has been playing with the same bunch of guys for years when you see him play for this squad. Even though this team has only played five games, Lowry already seems to be completely at ease in his job.
3. Protection
As a defender, Kyle Lowry has always been skilled. Although his defensive game has undoubtedly suffered, his cunning more than makes up for it. Whether he plays for ten or thirty minutes or longer, Lowry consistently produces excellent defensive plays. Lowry is capable of making an impression on the game even when his shots are not falling.Lowry only made 1 of 9 shots from the field on Sunday afternoon against the Dallas Mavericks. Nevertheless, Lowry made a number of crucial defensive plays in a game where he had trouble shooting the ball, some of which will be noted on the stat sheet and some of which won’t. For the past ten years, Kyle Lowry has been a member of various Eastern Conference teams. Fans of the Sixers have become accustomed to witnessing him harass opponents with his playmaking on defense. Now that he is a member of the Sixers, Lowry, who is almost 38 years old, is bothering rival teams. Having a man like him on your team is a welcome change of pace.
