The Parramatta Eels have made a major move in the off-season, securing key signings for the 2026 NRL season. They’ve brought in veteran forward Jack de Belin from St George Illawarra Dragons and playmaker Jonah Pezet from Melbourne Storm, both signing until 2026 ¹ ² ³.

 

De Belin, 34, has signed a two-year deal with a club option for 2027, bringing 245 NRL games and Origin experience to Parramatta’s forward pack. He’s considered one of the most durable forwards in the league, averaging 114 running metres and 34 tackles per match in 2025 ³ ⁴.

 

Pezet, a young talent, adds class and depth to the Eels’ halves. Coach Jason Ryles praised de Belin’s signing, saying he’ll be a “valuable addition to the team, bringing experience to a young roster” ¹ ³.

 

The Eels have also secured other signings like Zac Lomax, Dean Hawkins, Ronald Volkman, and Tallyn Da Silva. Their squad is shaping up nicely, with players like Bailey Simonsson, Dylan Walker, and Josh Addo-Carr committed until 2026 or 2027 ⁵ ³.
