Heart Breaking:Stoke City suffer another injury scare in first half of Norwich City clash

Stoke City faced a setback in their Championship match against Norwich City when Wouter Burger was forced off with an injury just before half-time. Burger, who had been involved in creating a couple of early chances for Stoke, went down in the center circle and required medical attention. Unfortunately, he couldn’t continue and was replaced by Jordan Thompson.

Norwich City had taken the lead in the 43rd minute, with Ante Crnac’s goal benefiting from a deflection off teammate Josh Sargent. However, Stoke managed to equalize before half-time through Million Manhoef, who struck a curling shot past Norwich goalkeeper George Long.

Norwich also had an injury issue of their own, as Marcelino Nunez had to be substituted after sustaining a leg injury. Oscar Schwartau came on to replace him.

The match continued to be tightly contested after these first-half incidents, with both sides managing key substitutions due to injuries.
