BREAKING NEWS: Rodgers has hit the jackpot on Celtic “powerhouse” who’s now worth £18m.

That night in Dortmund remains a blemish on Celtic’s record, but the Scottish champions have otherwise been dominant in the early stages of the new season, making a flawless start to their league title defense.

Celtic have won all seven of their Scottish Premiership matches so far, with new goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel conceding just once—Ronan Hale’s penalty in Dingwall, which even required a second attempt from the Irishman.

Schmeichel, following his free transfer from Anderlecht this summer, has more than justified his place, seamlessly stepping in for fellow veteran Joe Hart and proving his value at 37 years old.

The acquisition of the experienced Dane, Kasper Schmeichel, was a standout deal in what ultimately became an impressive transfer window for Celtic. Brendan Rodgers and his team are already benefiting from their summer business, with the club’s signings making a significant impact early in the season.

Celtic’s new signings are already making their mark. While it’s still early to fully assess Auston Trusty, who has been playing out of position at right centre-back due to Cameron Carter-Vickers’ absence, another new arrival, Alex Valle, has quickly impressed. The young defender particularly stood out with a clever back-heeled assist against St Johnstone, signaling his potential to be a key player this season.

Up front, £9.5m signing Adam Idah has made a promising return to Celtic, netting four goals in his first ten games this season. His overall tally for the club now stands at 13 goals and two assists in just 28 appearances across all competitions, showcasing his value to the team since rejoining Parkhead.

Former Norwich City striker Adam Idah wasn’t the only player to return to Celtic on a permanent deal. Paulo Bernardo, who has already scored twice this season, also signed from Benfica after a successful loan spell. The midfield was further bolstered by the £1m signing of Luke McCowan from Dundee, adding even more depth to the squad.
