Report:Global Transfer Top 100: Celtic Proves Their Value in the Face of EPL Affluence.

Celtic’s financial strength is evident in its ranking among the most valuable squads globally, as highlighted by the recent data from the CIES Football Observatory. The Hoops are valued at approximately €136 million (around £113.9 million), placing them 84th in the world and making them the only Scottish Premiership club in the top 100. This valuation surpasses that of newly-promoted English Premier League club Ipswich Town and notable Saudi clubs like Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr, who feature high-profile players such as Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo.

In comparison to Celtic’s Champions League rivals, Borussia Dortmund ranks 18th with a squad value of €646 million, while RB Leipzig is close behind at €639 million. Atalanta, another of Celtic’s opponents, is valued at €586 million, illustrating the financial disparities between these clubs and Celtic.

Real Madrid tops the global rankings, followed by other elite clubs such as Manchester City, Chelsea, and Arsenal. Barcelona is just ahead of Liverpool, with Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, and Tottenham also featured prominently.

Celtic’s most valuable player is record signing Arne Engels, with a valuation estimated between €14 million and €20 million. In contrast, Rangers’ top player, rookie striker Hamza Igamane, has a value ranging from €9 million to €11 million, indicating the competitive landscape of player valuations within Scottish football.
