Report:Celtic set for brand-new logo change after kit agreement reached

Celtic are reportedly on the verge of being promoted to the elite group of clubs sponsored by Adidas, joining the ranks of Manchester United, Arsenal, and Bayern Munich. This status upgrade, expected for the 2025/26 season, would bring additional perks, including a revamped kit design featuring Adidas’ iconic new trefoil logo.

Celtic and Adidas have enjoyed a successful partnership since 2020, and rumors suggest the contract extension is close to being finalized. With this promotion, Celtic would move up from the B Premium Tier, which will also involve new technologies like heat-dry fabrics on their kits.

This enhanced deal could significantly boost Celtic’s revenue, continuing the financial success seen in recent years. In 2023 alone, Celtic’s kit sales reportedly generated £29 million for Adidas, placing the club in the top 20 worldwide for kit sales. As Celtic’s deal with Dafabet as the front-of-shirt sponsor expires at the end of the 2024/25 season, attention will now shift to who will replace them, adding another layer of excitement for the fans.

This partnership with Adidas represents a commercial coup for Celtic, strengthening their position domestically and helping fuel their ambitions for further success on the pitch.
