Football fans have been asked to honor Harleigh Hepworth, a 17-year-old Wolverhampton Wanderers fan who was tragically stabbed to death in Wolverhampton’s West Park. A minute’s applause is being planned during the 17th minute of Wolves’ FA Cup match against Coventry City on Saturday, March 16. This tribute aims to pay respect to Harleigh, whose picture with the Wolves’ mascot, Wolfie, has been widely shared on social media to encourage fan participation.

Harleigh’s death has deeply impacted the local community, and two individuals have been arrested in connection with the incident. A 16-year-old boy has been charged with murder, and a second 17-year-old boy is currently being questioned by detectives.
