Stunning wedding celebrations have been revealed after a popular Sky Sports F1 star married her longtime partner in a beautiful ceremony held in County Cavan, Ireland.
Photographer Fra Lucchesi shared 20 photos from the special day on Instagram on Wednesday, captioning the post: “Congratulations Bernie and Ryan.” The images showcased the couple’s joyful celebration at a picturesque venue surrounded by family and friends.
Although the exact date of the wedding remains unknown, it is believed the ceremony did not take place during a Formula 1 race weekend. Several familiar faces from the Sky Sports F1 team, including David Croft, Karun Chandhok and Simon Lazenby, were spotted enjoying the festivities.
The post quickly attracted congratulatory messages from across the Formula 1 world. Aston Martin, one of Collins’ former employers, sent its best wishes, while fellow F1 strategist-turned-broadcaster Ruth Buscombe described the occasion as “absolutely stunning.”
The newlyweds became engaged at the end of 2024 after a surprise proposal during a skiing trip to Tignes in the French Alps. Despite meeting through motorsport many years ago, Collins revealed that the proposal caught her completely off guard.
Away from the racetrack, the couple recently began a new chapter together after relocating to Scotland. Speaking last month, Collins explained that they chose a charming 150-year-old stone house overlooking a loch, rather than a modern property closer to transport links.
She described the home as a peaceful escape from the demanding world of Formula 1, offering a welcome contrast to the constant travel, busy cities and noise that come with life in the sport.
