Man Utd Set Asking Price for Andre Onana After Monaco Enquiry

Manchester United have reportedly placed a firm price tag on goalkeeper André Onana after receiving transfer interest from French side AS Monaco. The Cameroon international, who joined United from Inter Milan in the summer of 2023, has been a key figure under Erik ten Hag but has also faced mixed reviews following a turbulent first season at Old Trafford.

According to reports, Monaco recently enquired about Onana’s availability as they look to strengthen their goalkeeping department ahead of the new campaign. However, United have made their stance clear: the 28-year-old will only be considered for departure if their valuation is met. Sources suggest the Red Devils are demanding a significant fee, reflecting both Onana’s quality and the club’s reluctance to lose him after just one season.

United invested heavily to bring Onana in as David de Gea’s replacement, and despite early struggles, he has grown into his role, showing improvement in distribution and confidence. Club officials believe his experience and leadership will be vital as Ten Hag continues to rebuild the squad.

The clear message from Old Trafford indicates that Onana’s future remains firmly in Manchester—unless Monaco or another suitor is prepared to pay the asking price.
