Celtic have indeed been active in the summer transfer window, strengthening their squad with several key signings. The latest addition, Adam Idah from Norwich City, joins Viljami Sinisalo, Kasper Schmeichel, and Paulo Bernardo as the new faces at Celtic Park.

Adding to this, reputable journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported that Alex Valle, a promising talent from Barcelona, has joined Celtic on loan. Valle, who made significant strides with Barcelona’s reserves and had a successful loan spell at Levante last season, will provide competition for Greg Taylor at left-back. Valle’s arrival adds further depth to the squad, showing Celtic’s intent to bolster their options as they aim to maintain their strong start to the season.

The recent club-record sale of Matt O’Riley to Brighton & Hove Albion for £30 million has given manager Brendan Rodgers additional funds to reinvest in the squad. Rodgers has indicated that more signings could be on the way before the transfer window closes.

Celtic’s start to the season has been impressive, with comfortable wins over Kilmarnock, Hibernian, and St Mirren securing nine points from their first three matches. The team now prepares for a crucial Scottish Premiership clash against arch-rivals Rangers this weekend in Glasgow, a match that will be a significant test of their early-season form.
