Celtic Set To Receive Bid For Star In Coming Days

Celtic is expected to receive an additional offer for one of their sought-after players in the near future as the competition for his acquisition intensifies.

Brendan Rodgers observed his team maintain their strong start to the new Scottish Premiership season on Sunday, achieving a convincing 2-0 victory against Hibernian.

The goals were scored by Nicolas Kuhn and Callum McGregor, with the latter’s remarkable strike coming from outside the penalty area, securing the win at Easter Road.

Rodgers opted to play Matt O’Riley for the entire match, despite the midfielder attracting interest from various clubs.

Multiple teams are pursuing O’Riley, but Atalanta from Italy seems to be the most determined, having had several offers turned down.

According to Sky Italia, Celtic is set to contend with another bid from Atalanta in the upcoming days.

O’Riley remains a significant target for the Serie A club this summer, and they are prepared to make a new proposal.

Rodgers has acknowledged that should O’Riley depart, finding a direct replacement would be exceedingly challenging.

Brighton is also showing interest in the midfielder.
