Video: Reo Hatate opens the scoring for Celtic with tidy finish

Reo Hatate found the back of the net for Celtic in their first match of the new Premiership season. The Japanese forward scored the opening goal against Kilmarnock just 16 minutes into the game.

Matt O’Riley intercepted the ball from a Kilmarnock defender and passed it to Greg Taylor, who then set up Hatate on the edge of the penalty area. Hatate calmly slotted the ball into the bottom left corner.

Celtic have been in control of the game, maintaining possession and moving the ball effectively. Brendan Rodgers will be pleased with his team’s performance so far, but he will also be looking for them to convert more chances, just like they did in the pre-season matches.
