Crystal Palace defender, involved in serious car accident

According to The Mirror UK, Pape Souare, a player from Senegal and Crystal Palace, narrowly survived a car accident on the M4 motorway near Heathrow Airport in England. The crash took place on Sunday at approximately 12.10pm, resulting in the defender being airlifted to the hospital after the terrifying incident. The collision, which involved two cars, caused Souare’s vehicle to collide with the central reservation. Driving a Mercedes G63, the Senegalese player sustained injuries to his thigh and jaw bone, as confirmed by his club, Crystal Palace, and he is currently hospitalized.

The left-back is understood to have been cut out of the vehicle before being taken to an east London hospital for treatment.

Eye-witnesses at the scene said the Mercedes appeared to have crashed into the central reservation.

Soaure, who was signed from French side, Lille in 2015, has played three times in the Premier League this season and 56 times for the club.

The defender was reportedly extracted from the car and transported to a hospital in east London for medical attention after the accident.
