Breaking News:Brighton young Midfielder going for new Club

We are happy to announce that Taylor Richards has signed with Cambridge United on a season-long loan.

The attacking midfielder, 22, who signed with QPR after leaving Brighton & Hove Albion last year, is now joining the team.

Following a fruitful loan stint at Doncaster Rovers, where he scored 11 goals in 48 appearances for the then-League One team, he signed professional terms with the Seagulls in 2021 after an outstanding youth career at Fulham, Manchester City, and Brighton.

After that, they went on to play on loan at Championship teams Birmingham and QPR before moving permanently to Loftus Road.

He will now play for Garry Monk’s team in 2024–2025, preceding the team’s preseason trip to Portugal.

Richards exclaimed, “I am very excited.” “Coming here to play football is a great opportunity for me; all I want to do is go out there and prove my abilities.”

“It all made sense to me after talking to the Club about my goals and where I want to get to, as well as the Club’s goals and where they want to go.

“I want to enjoy playing football again, and everything else will follow if I am enjoying it.”
