Aidan Nesbitt ranks Invincible Falkirk up there with ANYTHING as his Celtic heroes doing the Treble can’t compare

He was seated around a laptop in a Scotland camp when he witnessed his beloved Celtic heroes successfully complete an indescribable, Invincible Treble-winning campaign.

However, Aidan Nesbitt claims that being crowned an invincible League One champion with Falkirk is the epitome of dreams coming true. As the Bairns’ number 10, he led the charge as John McGlynn’s team fought back from a two-goal deficit to salvage a point against a determined Alloa side, solidifying their status as runaway title-winners and adding a touch of invincible finesse to their trophy celebration.

Nesbitt describes the occasion as one of the greatest days of his life. Now, as he mingles with the players he once idolized in Brendan Rodgers’ squad, he can hardly believe the remarkable achievements he and his teammates have accomplished, especially considering the challenges they faced during their time at Falkirk Stadium. He expressed, “It’s truly magnificent. I’ve been here for three years now, and as a club, we’ve experienced a lot during that time. To go from where we were to where we are now is absolutely incredible. It’s in a league of its own.”

“This is the stuff dreams are made of. My heroes achieved it when I was a teenager, when Celtic won their first Treble under Brendan Rodgers. I won’t compare the two, but it feels unbelievable to have matched what they accomplished in the league. Experiencing what they did at that time is simply phenomenal.”

“I was away on a Scotland trip with the under-21s, so as much as I was thrilled, I was devastated to have missed the final when they secured the Treble against Aberdeen. However, I vividly remember that day. It was an extraordinary season, yet another remarkable achievement. I still recall my debut for Celtic—it was extraordinary, just like that day and just like last Saturday.”

“Both achievements are viewed differently and hold their own significance. However, achieving it with Falkirk is the pinnacle for me. They remained unbeaten for another four months or so after that, so if we could replicate that feat in the Championship, it would be a fantastic start to the club’s journey.”
