The atmosphere of the Edinburgh Hearts Hibs Derby leaves viral English Tiktoker stunned.

Pete, who has almost 250,000 TikTok followers, gained popularity in recent years with his songs about Liverpool. On Wednesday night, he experienced the intense Edinburgh derby for the first time.

An internet sensation that creates football videos has revealed his feelings about seeing the Edinburgh derby for the first time.

Pete Boc, an English broadcaster for FanHub and a former football coach who goes by the handle Pete_boc on social media, was in Edinburgh on Wednesday night to sample the Hearts vs. Hibs derby at Tynecastle.

Before the game, Hibs and Hearts supporters marched along Gorgie Road, and Pete, who has around 250,000 followers on the social media site, uploaded footage to the official FanHubs TikTok account.

A video of the pre-game tradition was shared to Snapmaps on Wednesday. It shows numerous police vehicles attending, and in one clip, Hibs fans can be heard chanting while green flares are being fired off and smoke is billowing from the enormous crowd.

The FanHubs account also posted video of Hearts supporters occupying the street, yelling, and setting off fireworks and purple flares as they made their way to the game.

The description for the video reads, “@Pete_BOC enjoyed his Edinburgh derby experience,” expressing the Liverpool fan’s amazement at the incredible energy displayed by both groups of fans prior to the game starting.

After Emiliano Marcondes’ goal in the 28th minute was cancelled out by Lawrence Shankland’s penalty just before halftime, both teams split the points in the thrilling encounter, which concluded in a 1-1 draw.

But after the final whistle, Hearts manager Steven Naismith took aim at supporters inside the stadium after striker Shankland appeared to be pelted with objects as he went up to take his penalty. Video appeared to show the forward celebrating by catching a pie thrown from the fans and then taking a piece.

Hibs’ Marcondes was struck by an object thrown from the home end, while Shankland was again the target of objects from the visiting crowd. Hearts manager Naismith denounced the “idiots” who are “going to spoil the party for everyone.”

Hearts are still in third place in the Scottish Premiership, 12 points ahead of Kilmarnock in fourth, while Hibs, in seventh place, are finding it difficult to muster a strong comeback.
