Rangers’ young player is praised by Celtic boss and draws interest from Premier League teams.

The Premier League is showing interest in a young Rangers player after Brendan Rodgers lauded one of the Celts’ own outstanding players.

Both Celtic and Rangers won last night; the former crushed Dundee 6-0, while the latter overcame a first-half deficit to defeat Kilmarnock 2-1 away from home. Who can have an advantage over the other in the tight title race?

After Celtic’s thrilling win, manager Brendan Rodgers gave special recognition to one of their teenage goal scorers that day. In addition, a wonderkid for Rangers is apparently catching the eye of a Premier League team. However, who is it?

Brentford is considering a transfer for MacKenzie Strachan.

According to a Daily Record story, Premier League team Brentford is interested in Rangers youngster MacKenzie Strachan. The 20-year-old and the Light Blues agreed to a two-year contract back in 2022; it is set to expire this summer.

Thus, Strachan might be available to the Bees for free at the end of May if they are prepared to wait for his present contract to expire. Currently, it is unclear if the Gers will offer Strachan a better deal prior to that date.

Daniel Kelly receives compliments from Brendan Rodgers following Dundee’s 7-1 triumph.

After Daniel Kelly, 18, scored a goal for Celtic last night, Celtics manager Brendan Rodgers showered the young player with accolades in the post-match interview.

After the game, Rodgers commented during a press conference, “It was brilliant for young Daniel Kelly.” It’s wonderful to see a young player who has been with us since he was eight years old. I truly appreciate what he has, and I saw him throughout the preseason. It was a terrific goal, and his arrival was well-timed. He has an amazing attitude for a young player.”
