Dermot Desmond makes rare Celtic appearance as Rodgers and Henrik Larsson unite

Dermot Desmond made a rare public appearance at a Celtic charity evening in New York. The billionaire majority shareholder at Parkhead took in the glamour gala in the Big Apple alongside manager Brendan Rodgers and club icon Henrik Larsson in front of 350 guests at the plush Manhattan event hall where around £280,000 was raised for the Celtic Foundation. Members of supporters’ clubs from the likes of NYC, Philadelphia and Dallas were all present at the event where other big names such as George McCluskey and Roy Aitken also pitched in for the good cause as they recounted stories from their careers.
