Celtic has claimed the top spot in the Scottish Premiership after a hard-fought victory against a resilient Kilmarnock team.
Manager Brendan Rodgers expressed his pride in his players, highlighting that fans witnessed a “different side” to his Celtic squad at Rugby Park.

After the game, former Celtic player Chris Sutton praised two standout performers in the 2-0 win, noting that Celtic was “a wee bit lucky” to secure the result.
Sutton specifically commended Kasper Schmeichel and Nicolas Kuhn for their strong contributions at Rugby Park. “Huge win for Celtic, maybe slightly fortunate as Kilmarnock pushed them all the way.
