Vote Kuhn- Celtic star nominated for UEFA award….

Nicolas Kuhn has been shortlisted for UEFA’s Player of the Week after his exceptional performance helped Celtic secure a 3-1 win over his former team, RB Leipzig, putting them in a strong position for the Round of 16 Play-Offs.

Kuhn, who scored twice within a 10-minute span just before halftime, played a crucial role in the victory. His impressive display has earned him a spot among the four nominees for the prestigious award. However, Callum McGregor and Reo Hatate, who were also key contributors in the match, could easily have claimed the Man of the Match title as well.

Kuhn’s quick-fire double makes a strong case for him, and with Celtic fans likely to flood the UEFA voting platform, his chances of winning the award look promising. The irony of a German player playing a major role in Leipzig’s defeat, a club where he had a brief stint, hasn’t gone unnoticed by German media or supporters.

Despite having played for RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich in the past, Kuhn remains relatively unknown in Germany, but his performances this season are quickly changing that perception. Since joining Celtic in January from Rapid Vienna, Kuhn has been in excellent form, contributing goals and assists that have boosted his new club in both domestic and European competitions.

A year ago, Celtic fans were growing frustrated with the performances of Luis Palma and Yang Hyun-jun as replacements for Jota. However, Kuhn, who joined midway through last season, has seamlessly stepped into the role vacated by the Portuguese winger’s summer move to Al-Ittihad, proving to be an inspired signing and effectively filling the void left by one of Celtic’s most exciting players.
