Celtic delivered one of their standout performances of the 2024/25 season, overcoming RB Leipzig 3-1 in their Champions League match on November 5 at Parkhead. Nicolas Kuhn shined with two goals in the first half, while Reo Hatate added a third in the second half, helping Celtic secure a comeback victory.
The Daily Record praised Kuhn’s performance, awarding the German winger a 9/10 for his “fabulous” display. This season, Kuhn has scored nine goals and provided ten assists across all competitions, cementing his role as a key player in Brendan Rodgers’ lineup.
Recently, transfer interest in Kuhn has been heating up. Florian Plettenberg reported that several Premier League clubs have taken note, making him a player to watch for potential moves in the upcoming transfer window. Although he has a contract with Celtic until 2029 with a valuation above €10 million, the demand could drive up his market value.
Celtic has a history of successfully negotiating high transfer fees for standout players, as demonstrated with the record-breaking sale of Matt O’Riley to Brighton. Given Kuhn’s potential, the club could consider selling him, but only if a substantial offer is made—potentially around €30 million to maximize his value.
