Aberdeen star warns Celtic ‘the war is not over’ after League Cup thumping

Aberdeen striker Duk has expressed that although his team was defeated by Celtic, “the war is not over.” Following Aberdeen’s 6-0 loss to Celtic in the Scottish League Cup semi-finals at Hampden, Duk took to Instagram, praising his team’s effort and stating they’re ready to continue the fight. Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic team dominated the game, with Daizen Maeda scoring a hat-trick. Despite this setback, Aberdeen remains tied with Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership table, both on 28 points.

Duk posted: “Proud to be a part of this team, we lost a battle but the war is not over. Thank you for the support. We go again Saturday.” Aberdeen has a chance to take the lead in the league with a win or draw against Dundee, while Celtic will travel to face Kilmarnock on Sunday.
