Team News: Rodgers makes six changes but Scales misses out

Brendan Rodgers has made six adjustments to the Celtic lineup that defeated Dundee earlier this week for today’s League Cup semifinal against Aberdeen at Hampden. In a notable decision, Auston Trusty remains in central defense alongside Cameron Carter-Vickers, leaving Liam Scales on the bench.

In the midfield, Callum McGregor returns after missing two games due to injury, and Reo Hatate is also back in the lineup. On the wings, Daizen Maeda and Nicolas Kuhn are set to play as Celtic look to hand Aberdeen their first defeat of the season. Adam Idah, who missed the Dundee match due to injury, is listed among the substitutes.

The match will be officiated by Kevin Clancy, with Andrew Dallas handling VAR.
