Liverpool is returning to a familiar lineup for their Premier League match against Brighton on Saturday, with manager Arne Slot making nine changes from their midweek game. In the recent Carabao Cup, Slot had rotated the team, bringing in eight players, including Vitezslav Jaros, Tyler Morton, Jarell Quansah, and Conor Bradley. After a 3-2 win at the Amex with this youthful mix, Slot has now reverted to his senior players for the league.
Caoimhin Kelleher replaces Jaros in goal, continuing in the lineup due to Alisson’s injury. The defense includes Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ibrahima Konate, and Virgil van Dijk, with Kostas Tsimikas preferred over Andy Robertson. The midfield sees Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister, and Dominik Szoboszlai in action, while Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez, and Cody Gakpo form the attack.
Brighton, on the other hand, has also made eight changes, retaining only winger Ferdi Kadioglu and center-backs Jan Paul van Hecke and Igor Julio. Joao Pedro and Matt O’Riley are absent despite resuming training, and Lewis Dunk is sidelined with a calf injury.
**Liverpool lineup**: Kelleher; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Tsimikas; Gravenberch, Szoboszlai, Mac Allister; Salah, Gakpo, Nunez
**Brighton lineup**: Verbruggen; Veltman, Van Hecke, Igor, Estupinan; Kadioglu, Hinshelwood, Ayari, Mitoma; Rutter, Welbeck
