JUST NOW: A Pundit says Celtic target is ‘very unlikely’ to sign a new contract

Despite his team’s continuous fight for the Scottish Premiership title, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is probably keeping a watch on any summer transfer action.
It is often simple to lose sight of the fact that strategies will be in place to guarantee that Parkhead’s larger picture is taken into consideration while concentrating on the here and now.
Come summertime, Rodgers and company will have to make some significant decisions regarding individual players. Two items that are sure to come up for consideration are the fates of Adam Idah and Paulo Bernardo. The former has had an unexpected impact at Parkhead, and according to sources from his own country, Celtic may be able to sign the Norwich City loanee for more than £3 million.
In light of the circumstances, Bernardo, a Portugal Under-21 international, has a £6 million buyout clause in his contract that allows him “wiggle room” for additional discussions.
Beyond that, with Joe Hart set to retire at the end of the season, the Bhoys will need to bring in a new goalkeeper.
Scott Bain and Benjamin Siegrist may also depart the team, according to Rodgers’ confirmation last month. If this happens, other reinforcements might enter the goalie position.
When the window opens at the beginning of 2024–2025, there will likely be a lot of activity in both directions.
The Celtic target is “very unlikely,” according to a pundit, to sign a new deal.
Journalist Tom Collomosse of the Daily Mail claims that Callum O’Hare, a midfield player for Coventry City who is also drawing interest from Rangers and La Liga teams, is a target for Celtic.
Being out of contract this summer and without a new contract at the Coventry Building Society Arena, Fulham, Everton, and Southampton, three Premier League teams, are also keeping an eye on his profitable situation.

According to former England international Carlton Palmer, O’Hare is ‘very unlikely’ to commit to new terms at Coventry City, which would embolden suitors in their attempts to land the 25-year-old.Palmer stated [Football League World]: “One player who has been attracting a lot of attention is Callum O’Hare. Three La Liga clubs are looking at him. Celtic and Rangers are also said to be keen on the 25-year-old too.“He’s yet to sign a new contract at Coventry and his current deal is set to expire in the summer. He’s had an outstanding season, and it’s very unlikely now, with so few games left, that he’ll sign a new deal.“He’s scored nine goals in his last 15 games. He’s been bang in form, and it’s a shame that they haven’t been able to tie him down, but I understand why they didn’t. He’s a player who has suffered a lot with injuries.“He was offered a new contract, and a good contract at that, but he wants to keep his option open at the end of the season. Unless they are promoted to the Premier League, I feel that it’s more than likely that Callum O’Hare will play his football in pastures new come next season.”
