Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers spoke ahead of his team’s Scottish Premiership match against Dundee at Celtic Park tonight, explaining the six adjustments to his starting lineup.
Cameron Carter-Vickers, Greg Taylor, and Arne Engels are back in the lineup, with Anthony Ralston replacing Alistair Johnston. Up front, Luis Palma and Yang are also stepping in.
Discussing the changes with the BBC, Rodgers said: “We’re keeping the rhythm consistent. Some adjustments were necessary, and we wanted Carter-Vickers to get more minutes.
“It’s a strong and dynamic team, which we believe will bring energy and freshness.
“I trust the squad. It’s challenging, as some players don’t always get playing time, yet they’re all valuable. But for certain games, you can’t make widespread changes.
“I’m eager to see them in action, following our familiar structure and style. We need to be sharp and quick.
“Clarity is essential, and the players know how we operate and what’s expected of them.”
