Report:Speculation Mounts as Wolves Consider Move for Acclaimed Manager

David Moyes has been linked to Wolverhampton Wanderers amid speculation that the club could consider replacing current head coach Gary O’Neil. Mick Brown, a former scout, recently mentioned that Moyes would likely be interested in the role if it became available. Wolves currently sit 19th in the Premier League with no wins after nine matches, and while their attack has shown promise, their defense has been a consistent issue, conceding a league-high 25 goals.

Brown believes that Moyes’ experience and defensive acumen could benefit Wolves, especially given the team’s vulnerability at the back. He commented that Wolves’ struggles aren’t due to poor play overall but rather due to their inability to defend effectively, suggesting that Moyes could bring more solidity to their back line.

Despite their defensive troubles, Wolves have managed to score 12 goals, with Matheus Cunha leading the team’s scoring efforts. O’Neil’s side will be eager to turn things around in upcoming matches against Crystal Palace and Southampton, both of whom are also struggling.
