Celtic vs Dundee: TV channel, kick-off time, team news, referee & VAR

Celtic are set to host Dundee in a midweek Scottish Premiership clash at Parkhead on Wednesday, October 30, with kick-off at 7:45 pm GMT. The match offers Celtic a chance to extend their lead at the top of the table, especially if title rivals Aberdeen and Rangers draw in their encounter at Pittodrie.

The game will not be broadcast live on Sky Sports or Premier Sports, but fans outside the UK and Ireland can watch it on Celtic TV, with coverage beginning an hour before kick-off. In the UK, updates will be available through Sportsound on BBC Radio Scotland, while highlights can be viewed on Sportscene on BBC One Scotland at 10:40 pm GMT.

Celtic’s lineup could see some key players returning. Captain Callum McGregor, who missed the previous match against Motherwell due to a minor injury, is hopeful for a return. Defender Cameron Carter-Vickers, who made a recent comeback, is expected to start, alongside Greg Taylor, who is also available. However, Adam Idah remains a doubt following an injury sustained against Motherwell. Manager Brendan Rodgers is awaiting scan results to determine the extent of the injury.

The Scottish FA has appointed Ross Hardie as the on-field referee, assisted by Graeme Stewart and Paul McAvinue. VAR will be managed by Matthew MacDermid, with Andrew McWilliam serving as the assistant VAR.

Celtic fans will be eager to see the team capitalize on Dundee’s inconsistent form and secure another three points as the title race intensifies.
