Snoop Dogg reveals Wrexham story has made him want to invest in Celtic

Snoop Dogg has expressed his desire to invest in Celtic, drawing inspiration from the remarkable success of Wrexham’s Hollywood owners, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. The pair acquired Wrexham for nearly £2 million in 2020 and have since taken the team from the National League to League One in back-to-back promotions. Their story has caught the attention of the 53-year-old rapper, real name Calvin Broadus Jr., who’s now keen to bring his unique flair and support to Celtic.

In an interview with the *Daily Record*, Snoop praised Celtic’s passionate fanbase and the atmosphere at Celtic Park, calling it unparalleled in Europe. “I love what Ryan has done with Wrexham. It’s just a great story,” he said. “If the chance came to invest in Celtic, I would be crazy not to take a look at it.” He humorously added that, with the club’s mascot being a hound, Snoop as “Hoopy the Hound” would be a “match made in heaven.”

This isn’t the first time Snoop has shown love for Celtic; he’s been seen wearing the club’s shirt and has previously referred to the Bhoys as “his boys.” His potential involvement has stirred excitement among fans, with many intrigued by the idea of Snoop’s influence on one of Scotland’s most iconic clubs.
