Judas Priest is aiming to make up for their recent last-minute cancellation in Houston by offering a special ticket discount for fans. The band is giving a price break on tickets for their October 26 show at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory in Dallas. Using the code HOUSTON on Ticketmaster or LiveNation.com, fans can access reduced rates, with prices dropping from $34.80 to as low as $21.05 in select sections.
In an Instagram post, the band described this offer as “an attempt to make amends to all the disappointed fans.” While the discount is available to anyone, travel and accommodation costs remain the responsibility of ticket holders.
Judas Priest’s Houston show, originally set for Tuesday at Smart Financial Centre in Sugar Land, was canceled just a day before the event due to “unforeseen circumstances.” Fans on social media speculated that singer Rob Halford was ill with the flu.
Their Austin show tonight at Germania Insurance Amphitheater is still on as planned, while the Dallas performance marks the final stop on their U.S. tour before heading to Japan for five concerts.
In a recent interview, Rob Halford, who has led Judas Priest for over 50 years, spoke about his appreciation for “that generous Texas heart.” The band released their 19th album, *Invincible Shield*, in March. Halford, 73, also expressed his love for pop music, praising artists like Chappell Roan, Lady Gaga, and Taylor Swift for their lasting impact on the music world, adding, “I’ll still be banging my head to ‘Paparazzi’ on my deathbed.”
